Visit to Germany June 11 - 14 2009

Hi all - I will be making a trip to Rheindahlen once again this June, to re-visit the places I remember, taking photos etc. If anyone else is going to be in the area between 11th and 14th June 2009, and would like to meet up, please let me know. I am staying with my wife at a Hotel in Monchengladbach for the 4 nights, and would be pleased to see anyone who knows me.

Hi Dave, last time I was there, Marlboro Club didnt exist (I Think) - Pops & Eddie's I can't remember where they were - everything has changed since 1977 - please try and pinpoint these places and I will check them out and photograph for you.

Hi All - Had a great time visiting everywhere in Rheindahlen.Stayed in Hotel Garni-Vision in Monchengladbach. On last night, ate at Schnell Imbis in MG and got food poisoning, which made my next part of the journey - Wales not much fun. Those who requested photos got them - or at least I hope they got them - I sent them on CD, because they were all taken with 12 megapixel camera, and it makes each picture about 3-6 mb's each. Advantage is that they can be magnified without loss of detail. Hope you enjoy them, and of course, they are what you wanted.

Thanks Ken i have recieved them i will speak to you on skype or give you a bell. We have just got back from camping in Aberystworth for a few days. So will talk later hope the good lady is feeling a bit better?

hi Ken thanks for the cd although some places i didnt recognise, i have posted off to you 2 photos of myself and Tom. they were taken in 1969 i expect you can recall the horses me on Plato and Tom on Intruder.
