02/02/1903 Coy formed at Portsmouth
1911 68 Horse Tpt Coy disbanded
01/10/1912 68 HT Coy became 12 HT Coy
73 MT Coy became 68 MT Coy
1913 Stationed at Curragh - Ireland
20/03/ 1914 68 (MT) Coy RE NOD 49 (MT) Coy
28/08/1914 69 (MT) Coy raised & allotted as 3 Indian (Lahore) Ammo Sup PK
23/09/1914 Embarked for BEF. Re- allotted ! GHQ Ammo SUp PK
1916 No 1 GHQ Res (MT) Coy in France
10/02/1917 Auxillary Omnibus PK
22/12/1917 1 GHQ Res MT Coy
01/09/1919 Disbanded
09/09/1938 Reformed in Jerusalem with A & B sect
1939 Became 68 Coy Reception & Training - Palestine
1945 Resumed role of MT Coy in Palestine
1948 Semi-suspended animation in North Germany
July 1948 68 Coy RASC (air freight) at Fassberg
1949 68 Coy RASC (AD) Wunsdorf Germany
1950 68 Coy RASC (AD) Hildersheim Germany
01/01/1954 68 Coy RASC (MT) formed at Bad Oeynhausen Germany
Nov 1954 Unit moved to Rheindahlen Germany. Role as static unit in support of HQ BAOR
1956 - 1964 Remained at Rheindahlen in direct support of HQ BAOR
Feb 1977 Joint army/RAF working party asssembled with a view to the formation of a joint MT under Army control
Aug 1977 Formaly established as a TSU in Rheindahlen
1977 - 1985 A series of studies to amalgamate with RAF Transport in Rheindahlen. No action as at end 1985.
1993 Became 68 SQN RLC
