What do you want added to the site?

Hi all.

This site is very easy to customise, I can add content and pages to the Portal, and I can add different categories and sub forums to this forum. Any requests?

The site does have a gallery - but it doesn't have a lot of room so I'm looking for somewhere else to move all our photographs to (Can anyone help with this?)

I've added a 'chatbox' which is a bit like a chatroom where you can talk with others in real time. This chatbox is at the bottom of the Portal page.

Soon i'll link in our old guestbook and the History pages from the old site. If anyone knows a bit about html and would like to help me add the old ( and new) content please let me know. I'm also seeking volunteer mods for this forum in case we get any viagra/russian bride type spammers trying to post! - Unless you're all looking for viagra and Russian brides

Thanks Val as Ken say,s it gives people a chance to find someone that was there same time as you?

Hi Val - it is very good that you have placed a facility for people to put their real names in, - however - if you have (Hopefully) 500 names on the list, it will take forever to scan for everyones real names, one at a time. Real names need to be the first thing that is seen, when the memberlist is opened - as a lot of people already have done, so you straight away know who you are looking at - I Know that you are Val - but do not know your surname, and to find out, I have to go into your profile, and scroll right down, whereas, with my own name for example, you do not need to as it is the first thing you see - sorry to be so boring - thanks for what you are doing again.

I think we'll have to compromise on this one, because everyone will have a different view. Personally I don't mind putting my surname on my profile, but I like to be more informal on the forums, other people will prefer to go by their nicknames, others may be quite happy to use their full names. It's down to each one to decide.

As I haven't had any help working my way through the old contacts database it'll take me quite a while to email all the old members. (those who's email addresses are still valid!) But as they discover this forum and catch up on the posts they'll have a chance to read your proposals. Users can edit their usernames themselves at any time, so i'll leave it with you sell your suggestions to them

What kind of games Dave? there is some kind of role player game built into this forums software, I've never tried activating it though- so if i do i'd have to leave it with you to work out how to use it

Thanks val i dont know how to do the above as i am a novice at the computer. I only play games on the waggoners as they are allready on the site. I made the suggestion as i thought it might help the site. I advertise the site when ever i can if i could help you with anything that is in my power just give me a bell. But keep up the good work thanks again. if we get enough member,s back you never know we might have a reunion?

Hi. Yes this was requested and put in place quite a while ago. It's available as an option in everyones profile. To make it more obvious i've moved the choices up the list

Hi Val Just got back from cornwall had a good time at sisters wedding. I like the info that you have added it might help people meet other,s. I have asked alex if she could promote this site at the reunion and we might get it going at last. I hope so I was going to go to the reunion but with having the wedding before hand it was a drain on the pocket. Hope you are ok and that we get a few more use the site. regards dave.
